The daily grind

So what does a typical Camino day look like?

05:00, the first rustling of the early risers begins. By 06:00 it's in full swing and many have already left.
06:30, get up. Get dressed. Fold up the bedding, pack the bags, find some breakfast if possible.
08:00, head out onto the Camino.
- Walk or ride until it's time for the first café con leche. This time varies as a function of how many hills there are and how many villages there are.
- Lunch optional (see previous item). Emergency banana as required.
- Early afternoon, start thinking about a suitable place to spend the night.
- Arrive at chosen destination, start looking for an albergue with a bed available.
- Find bed, prepare bedding, have shower, wash clothes (and hope they dry in time).
- Visit local sights (if any).
- Update trip record and blog. Look at tomorrow's route.
- Have dinner (three course Pilgrim menu with copious bread and wine).
- Return to albergue before lights out.
22:00, Go to sleep.

Repeat as required.
